Shy For Shore is a dream pop duo from London and Oslo, based in Amsterdam. In April 2013, Shy For Shore released an independent EP entitled; Sometimes It’s A Heartbreak Not To Introduce Yourself. The deep, ephemeral sound of this EP has often been compared to the aesthetic of the Drive Soundtrack, and featured in much media of its own, including Norwegian film;  ’â begrave en hund’.

The dream duo are currently working on their second single to be released through Diamond Club in November. But first things first, if you havent got chance to hear it on radio yet, here is their newest single, Then the Heartbreak, out on iTunes now!

Helt siden Norge fikk dilla på Sansen og Reint Mel(i påsen din) har Tôg lagt lista høyt for det som skal komme. De har også møtt forventningene: Tôg har gjort god figur på by:Larm og spilt på SXSW. De har til og med fått ungdomsdrømmen oppfylt da de var på MTV! Gode kritikker har heller ikke uteblitt: Blant annet trillet Lydverket en femmer og påsto:”...live gjør Tôgs dansbare og høyst organiske elektropop lite annet enn å spre tonnevis med varm glede. Og dans. Og latter.”

 Siden debutplata Drøm kom ut høsten 2011, har bandet jobbet iherdig med nytt materiale. Tôgs nye plate skal hete Feiring, og fra de som har hørt det nye materialet er det visstnok en skamløs leken fest som venter oss, med New-York disco, norsk disco, 80-talls boogie/funk og innslag av 90-talls R`n`b som stikkord for destinasjoner bandet vil ta oss til.

Så langt har de sluppet boogie/disco/funk perlen "Når Me Våkne Opp Imårå" og space-disco/deephouse låten "Maridalen" for å vise noe av spekteret som kommer på Feiring. Platen er skrevet og produsert av Lars Christian Olsen sammen med Ådne Meisfjord som også har bidratt på låtskriverfronten. Miksingen står Eric Broucek kjent fra å ha jobbet med bl.a. LCD Soundsystem, Holy Ghost, !!! m.fl.

Novo Amor and Ed Tullett first crossed paths in November 2013, at the Newport date of Ed’s UK tour. After showing an immediate appreciation for each other’s work, Ed, based in Brighton, spent December at Novo Amor (Ali Lacey)’s Cardiff home-studio, writing a record’s worth of material.

Recorded in March and self-produced by the pair in Cardiff, ‘Faux’ is the first realization of their collaborative talent, a swirling combination of their stunning falsettos, giant acoustic swells, and cryptic lyrics. The single, to be released via Norway-based label Brilliance Records, and Dumont Dumont, home to RY X, is an addictive alternative-folk behemoth.

Ed Tullett is currently putting final touches to his new record, ‘Fiancé’, a dark, electronic departure to his early acoustic work, after having remixes of Bon Iver (released on Spotify on the Bon Iver Stems Project album) and Local Natives shared by the bands themselves. 

Novo Amor’s ‘Woodgate, NY’ EP was released in March via Brilliance to rave reviews (6/6 – GAFFA, 8/10 – The 405), after premiering on The Line Of Best Fit. 

Their collaboration is the start of something bigger, as they prepare to write further and look to crafting a full record later in the year.

Brilliance Records is a small indie label out of Bergen, Norway. The label’s focus is to discover and present new brilliant music.

Dumont Dumont is a label based in Stockholm, Sweden. Australian artist RY X was the first artist to be released on the label.

Faux, by Novo Amor & Ed Tullett, will be released via Brilliance / Dumont Dumont on 23rd June.

Nylenda  is  set  to  release  their  fourth  single  Fires  Light 2. November  at  Eget  Selskap/Brilliance.  Fires  Light  might  be  their  most  ambitious  release  yet,  through  6  minutes  they  take  you  on  a  full-fledged  journey  through  their  universe  of  psychedelic  pop,  space  disco  and  krautrock.  The  lyrics  are  partly  inspired  by  a  dream  sequence  from  the  cult  TV-show  Twin  Peaks.  The  music  overlay  this  slight  surrealistic  and  dreamy  mood,  where  the  progression  of  the  song  takes  unexpected  twists  and  turns  along  the  way.  The  Norwegian  trio  nylenda  serves  up  a  danceable  mix  of  psychedelic  pop  and  electronic  music.  Using  an  all  hardware  set-up  of  analog  synths,  drum  machines,  organ,  bass  and  guitar,  nylenda  has  created  an  idiosyncratic  sound  that  is  both  fresh  and  catchy.    Since  the  release  of  their  first  single  "Burning  Eyes" in  the  fall  of  2017  nylenda  has  put  them  self  on  the  map  of  Norway  ́s  music  scene,  playing  at  the  by:Larm  festival  2018  where  they  were  granted  a  song  writing  scholarship  from  NOPA  (Norwegian  Society  of  Composers  and  Lyricists),  Vill  Vill  Vest  festival  2018,  and  Liveurope  Festival  Oslo  that  presented  some  of  the  most  exciting  new  acts  from  Scandinavia  to  bookers  across  Europe.

Meet Norwegian horror-house pop act Tôg – sizzling synthesizers, 60′s combo organs, arpeggio swirls and thumping, italo-house beats. Beginning through a chance encounter, lead-man Lars Christian Olsen and his room mate would conduct “disturbing” sessions of electronic music experimentation using laptop synthesizers and a newly purchased Farifsa organ. But as luck will have it with true musical genius, the two came to produce “Sansen” – a massive Summer hit in Norway.

Joining forces with trusted friends and fellow musicians, Olsen began experimenting with various noises, perfecting and shaping the signature Tôg sound. Playing a string of shows across Norway, as well as national television and the highly reputable Hove-Festival, the bands’ popularity in their home country continued to rise – playing packed clubs, dancing on couches, tables, barcounters and speakers.
