Premiere: Layla Benitez - Broken Love ft. Frýnn [Zamna Records]

Wennink’s new four-track EP, ‘Wolf In My Clothes’ marks the singer/producer’s debut release on Automatik. Based in London, Wennink’s vocals and productions can be heard on some of the most recognised labels in dance music including Afterlife, Crosstown Rebels, and This Never Happened. Often teaming up with his DJ/Producer wife Henri Bergmann, Wennink has previously performed as Anaphase and also lent his talents to artists like Rinzen, Oliver Koletzski, Pete Tong & John Monkman.

Wennink’s three new originals allow for listeners to see a more artistic side to the producer’s evolving discography. Best known for his vocals on some of melodic house and techno’s most recognisable tracks, Wennink’s songwriting ability and rich melodies allow him to dig deep into his creative arsenal.

Not to be forgotten, the fourth track on the EP is a club-ready remix from Rinzen of the EP’s title track. The Los Angeles-based producer and DJ’s melodic and cinematic soundscapes can be heard in his 2024 debut album on Lane 8’s This Never Happened. Already receiving incredible DJ support from Adriatique, Rinzen's ’Wolf In My Clothes’ remix adds the closing touches to Wennink’s EP.

Italian producer SPADA returns to the Joris Voorn's Spectrum label for the first time since his 2023 smash, Pegasus, and hot off a debut release with Adriatique's Siamese imprint.

New single 'Redemption' sees Spada in full flight once again, immersing listeners in a pulsing soundscape where deep, throbbing basslines intertwine with haunting synths, creating a dark and exhilarating atmosphere. The track's rhythmic intensity builds gradually, drawing dancers into a groove that pulses with energy, whilst its melodies rise and fall. Making it the perfect soundtrack for the late-night dancefloor.

Mariion Christiian is an artist who should be very familiar to followers of Dissident Music; He’s released great music as a solo artist, as his alias/duo Magnetic Ghost with Rick Tedesco, and in collaboration with label mainstay Seth Vogt. Mariion is a special kind of artist who delivers consistently beautiful and emotive music, full of life and melody, and far off the beaten path of bog-standard club tunes- and that makes his music a perfect fit for Dissident. With The Big Feel EP, It should come as no surprise that the title is an apt one. Deep indie house and electronica vibes combine with Mariion’s diverse influences from new wave to soul to carry the haunting vocals to their destination. “The Big Feel” comes in like a warm summer breeze, with it’s story of heartbreak and letdown, while “Lesson” leans into a darker feeling with an appropriately deep vocal, perfect for the mood of the track.
