I wrote this song with my good buddy Mike Evans. It is a sad and shameful state when we have so many homeless veterans! We wanted to make a statement and it came out in the form of this song about a veteran that the local kids just call "Sergeant Bum". Thanks to all the veterans...now lets take care of our own.  Brink and Mike.

For all the veteran's.  I wrote this song after reading an article written by Gina Kay Singerhouse of the magazine Strictly Country.  The spirit of the lone soldier is in the fabric of America.  As long as we remember all the service men and women the lone soldier will "walk on".  My buddy David Adkins of Republik Steele does a great job on the vocal with my simple piano accompaniment.
