My one-man-band cover of run rudolph run or run run rudolph originally written by Chuck Berry. I aimed for Brian Setzer's version of the song, but countless guitar icons over the past fifty years also did fantastic work with this piece.

"Dissonant" is cowritten by myself and Ian Mahoney. This song dates back to a hot summer day in 2013. Ian came over with this idea in his head (the intro to dissonant) and we ended up recording a 40 minute improv jam involving just that riff. We were both in college at the time, so we only met up to jam and work on it during our breaks. It then became a song, after a bootleg demo, and finally, years later, an original song on my SoundCloud page.

This one was interesting because I wanted to do it with one guitar, so I had to change much of the guitar line around to accommodate for the rhythm and lead lines.

I changed around a lyric or two in case any internet legislation ever gets passed that makes videos like this illegal, but the original lyrics are at the end of the description.

Nevertheless, here it is: my Spring Break YouTube project. Recorded, mastered, captured and edited by myself using the following equipment:

I feel as though this song is what brought punk and alternative rock to our generation.
