The American trap infused track is a callout for a good time, loosely
translated from township slang, Aziwe Ke means “Let the fun
begin”. While the song’s soundscape draws heavily from American
southern trap , Brintz maintains his identity on the song, with
colloquial references evidenced by lines such as “Ngiz’blomele kule
Shalast, Ng’labo Gazi” which talks about him drinking at a shebeen
with his people. Shebeens are usually unlicensed home drinking
establishments, which are very popular in ekasi (ghetto) where he is
from.
The single boasts of production from Zimbabwean born & SA based
producer, Phanas, who has been flying the Zimbabwean flag high
for working on productions with established South African Acts
such as Speedy & Kid X to name a few. It was mixed & mastered by
Larynx Voice Box.
Aziwe Ke is only available on Brintz official artist website

release (ending October 28th 2022) . The Artist launched his welldesigned
& fully functional digital product on the same day of the
single’s launch, a move which he feels will enable fans easy access

As an artist who grew up heavily influenced by Kwaito music, Brintz lends his ghetto fabolous aspirational
rap lyrics to a bouncy kwaito beat with lucious production that is guaranteed to leave heads nodding
whenever it is played. Phezulu is the first release of the year 2023 for Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards

Phezulu, translated from Brintz’s native Ndebele Language means "Up" and is an ode to everyone who is
elevating in whatever field or passion that they are pursuing. The laid back lyrics are conversational and
they complement the beat thereby laying the foundation for some of the song’s great lyrical showcases.

Lines such as “Like the last rocket , watch me take off elevate” a double entendre giving props to the late
Migos rapper Takeoff and his popular rap alias, the last rocket.
Colloqual references in his native Ndebele language are relatable and seek to connect to his audience in
an authentic manner whilst at the same time not alienating non-Ndebele speaking listeners.

The single is available on his official artist website exclusively on the 2nd of May 2023, for one week after
which it will be made available on all streaming platforms.

After a successful run for his single #Phezulu, Brintz returns with a scorcher of a Grime rap-charged track "Let Them Know". The single is him affirming his position in the local rap scene and showcasing his lyrical prowess. He ropes in another razor-sharp lyricist, VI The Law, a 2022 ZimHipHop Awards "Best Underground" award winner for the single.

Brintz had his career beginnings as a battle rapper for the Da Grapevine rap battle league owned by popular Zimbabwean hip-hop enthusiast, Naboth Rizla. It is through this experience that he honed his lyricism and well-thought-out themes for his music. His music employs authentic, introspective, and well-articulated lyrical content blended together with classical hip-hop soundscapes whilst experimenting with alternative sounds in between. The debut project, Play The$e for Now EP is his introduction to the world as an artist.
