I made everything but the main snare but who cares because how the ass does one replicate the Linn drum machine snare????

Sytrus patch: the "catchphrase" of the song (the first sound in the song) this noise was made by using an LFO on filter one's cutoff and somehow managed to make it self-oscillate. I had no idea digital gear could just D O  T H A T. I messed around and the sound has every A and D note playing from octave like 2 to 6... so it's harmonics are really kick-ass and even, making you absolutely (((FFeeL)). there's also a LPF on the main sound and as the LPF goes up more harmonics build rather than just playing the notes like a twat. 
On the mix there's a EQ cut at like 13k Hz or somewhere close to that. It also has a bit depth thing and that's what causes that "hiss" throughout the track. there's also a distortion on the master to warm things up and very lazy limiting on.

like halfway through I had drums that I recorded myself in my audio engineering class and holy shit i'm bad at playing as of today.
