Not Far From Home (Demo)

You're Not Who I Though You Were

Sunny Wednesday Afternoon

I recorded a few tracks with my acoustic guitar, then I reversed three of the recordings, stretched one out, and cut up another to have a kind of collage of sound. 

Ambience in the Whisper Room

I patched my electric guitar into the synth and made one long recording which I took sections of and layered together. This was my final project for sound class.

Guitar and Synth

I used recorded noises of tapping and banging on things, and I recorded the resonance from holding a water jug over a microphone. I also used a quote from Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-tale Heart" using an online voice translator. Put it all together in my sound class. This was more of an experiment.

Hideous Heart

Primarily I'm a painter, and incredibly lucky to be studying at the art institute in Chicago. By no means am I an advanced musician; I could never get past that whole "practicing" thing, but I love playing around with sounds and instruments and I'm always looking for something new to pour my creativity into. This is my life in sound. Enjoy and listen, or don't. It's up to you.
