A collection of old songs, never released anywhere, yearning for a home that hasn't materialised.

Trancy, intense, emotional, this compilation style EP encompasses the unease in uncertainties of self and of future - the yearning to lash out, to explode, find out all the answers or go out blazing, yet, at the same time, anxiety of many many untold and ignored things, festering inside, and the urge, the irrational need to keep them hidden. It's a paradox in form of sound, as we are paradoxes ourselves.

PREMIERE : ONEGIN - I wanted to ask, yet was never comfortable to

2024 welcomes it's first mix so far by none other than Filmmaker, who's bio many-where says "no need to present someone like him" or scarse info such as time and date of the mix played. Anyhow, this prolific Colombian borne, widely acclaimed artist has made a mix for the series which in his own words "began as a listening" trip, "but inevitably ended being a dancey one". Groove about with electrifiying nuggets from the one and only @Flmmkr.

Premiere: Brainwave Research Center - Big Moonlight

I never post live sets, but this one was the most fun set I've ever played so with a bit of a push from a couple people I've  decided I would post it, warts and all. The only edits I made were to shorten the dead air after I reloaded tracks, particularly where I was over zealous and caused equipment issues. Oops. The microphone was also not being recorded that night. It's far from technically perfect, and doesn't quite captured the energy of the moment, but I hope you enjoy it and it brings you back to that momment if you were there!
Just reach out if you want to know what any of the tracks are, I might tell you, but then again might not. The first track is a new unreleased one of mine.

Episode #07 of MJU Residency on Radio Alhara featuring PRCK. Karolis Pročkys aka. PRCK is a connoisseur of UK bass, jungle and various genres of more broken beat electronics. Previously part of the Lithuanian indie rock band Flash Voyage, PRCK now is exploring the and rhythmic side of electronic music, doing both great mixes, releasing his own tracks and promoting bass music in his native Kaunas.  

MJU Residency is a show that highlights alternative music and musicians coming from Eastern Europe, exploring the uniqueness of this area of the world and making it more visible worldwide.

Vast emptiness of the darkness where my thoughts roam free. In the open under a starry night out of town or in the shadows of the club with lights coloring the ceilings and flashing like auroras and comets. Visuals for my eyes, sounds for my heart, and relentlessly driving techno for my body. This is what fills my autumn nights.

Minimal, dark, deep, hypnotic and industrial techno mixtape in 128 bpm. Thanks @kennylarkin, @riversoundstudio festival and @rambynas for inspiration.

After the highly successful night of the Lizdas Academy at the very start of the Auditorija season, we regrouped and called a club meeting – we need a repeat. The result of our discussion? Five fresh names, including Onegin.

Onegin's relationship with electronic music began in bars around the capital, exploring soundscapes. Later, after moving to Kaunas to study, he felt a specific taste starting to take shape, leaning toward experimental sounds, his own creations, live performances, event organization, and work in radio. What to expect this Friday? Onegin often finds himself in the realm of organic electronica, a mix of leftfield electro, and industrial echoes – it seems that's exactly what will resonate at the Academy's night.

MMMIX90: Onegin

ONEGIN is an alter-ego of architect and artist Karolis Lasys. Through ONEGIN Karolis conducts sonic etnography of what’s happening in the dark. Soundwise, mixes and music coming from this project is a blend of industrial with hyper- and/or post- genres and a heavy dose of spoken-word (reaching for screamo at times) in a live context. The goal of this very fluent blending of influences is a high degree of experimentation, synthesis and, most importantly, storytelling through sound. Under ONEGIN, Karolis has performed all over the Baltics (and beyond), recently representing Lithuania’s electronic music scene in Tallinn Music Week and is a freshly-minted resident of Lizdas Sound Institute. For 2025 there are three releases in the works: “Stigmergia” EP to be released by Berliners “Re:natura”, “Television” LP set for release by Bristol’s “TUTAMEN" and a full length album “Fear of Tomorrow’s Sun”. In this set ONEGIN wanted to touch the light, the fragile and the emotional side of dance music, culminating in an hour long journey to an elating climax of energy.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
