Back in 1981 I was in 1st grade and the song I remember hearing on the radio everywhere I went was "Cool Night" by Paul Davis. It's been embedded in my memory. I just re-created it in my home studio. This was a ton of fun. I did my best to achieve that early 80s soft rock experience. I hope this brings back memories of a good life when your love was not so old. 😄Enjoy!

Here's my cover of an oldie: "It's My Life" by The Animals. I went for an authentic 60s vibe so I used a real equipment from the 1960s on this track. This bass guitar is a 1969 Gibson EBO. The amp is a 1966 Ampeg V4-B. The 12 string is a Rickenbacker 660/12. I hope this one takes you back to groovy times! Enjoy!

Hello! I'm Brian and I'm a singer/songwriter guitarist from the Washington, D.C. area. I was lucky to grow up in the 80s and got to hear such incredible music on the radio.  I've played in bands for many years in bars and restaurants. Now I'm taking all those musical influences and writing my own songs and instrumentals. Sometimes I collaborate with other singers.
