Spirit Dancing

This is a piece I wrote for a Taxi listing and my first forward to a music library.

The melody of this instrumental cue is played on a 110 year old Mandola I was given in the 70s. It’s was already in bad condition when I was given it, and now suffers from a split in the top caused by a harsh winter. It’s time to give it some loving repairs.

I used two guitars for this. My 1966 Gibson Hummingbird was used to double the basic fingerpicking part. On top of that I strung my 1977 Yairi, a Martin New Yorker style 12 fretter as a high string.  I’m back to learning and writing.
