This is the lead song from the Korean Netflix series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, which was performed by Car, the Garden.  I was a bit surprised at how well the song holds up without the original lyrics.  One of my good friends Alex (@lechatmango) hated whenever she heard this song during the TV series, but was pleasantly surprised at the piano solo version.

When I first heard this song, it reminded me of the feel-good songs of the Beach Boys from the 60s.  I can’t quite put my finger on it.  As with some of the best Korean pop, there are strong influences from the past, but with a very unique style.

I tried to go off of the page towards the end, as the band did in the soundtrack recording, but I think I need another shot to get that right.  Thanks to the transcriber, Tully Piano, for doing the solid work that got me to this place.
