One of the finest and fun musicians I ever had the pleasure of jamming and drinking and joking with....Jan the drummer fro LEICESTER!!! Here she is playing live on BBC radio. We all squished into the studio and played live for an hour. Listen to how she made those cymbals sing :)

Ruby Tuesdays live at bbc

Song composed for my dearly loved and departed friend Jan 'The drummer' She loved Stairway to Heaven and so I was compelled to write a song for her that had a little bit of that track in it. Just messing about on garageband to add drums/Bass /Horns and of course drums to what was just originally for acoustic guitar. Sorry Jan about my keyboard drumming-just doesn't quit capture how you played them. Ruby D

I have composed and rearranged this song three times since the sad news last Friday. This is a genuine musical response to losing a really special friend from the little picturesque, musical ,artistic village I live in. Brian was all about the music and making it happen. Before he passed away we were hatching plans to revive the Captain Cook music session every Sunday. Only Brian and I turned up the other Sunday so we had a laugh about it and decided to have a rethink. He will be missed and this is my plea to villagers
....keep the live music..and let it be his legacy. Brian A MAN OF HARMONY.
