Strolling through the forest, your feet carry you along a narrow path. You can feel the dead leaves and dry branches give way to your soft step. The scent of bark, fungi and wet moss filling your nostrils while you surrender to the spirit of the woods. A familiar, yet so foreign fragrance, your eyes drenched in a deep green, it feels like home. Accompanied by a tender melody sung by the birds, soft rays of light cutting through leafy crowns, the gentle rustling embedded in insectoid humming. The slow rhythm of growth, older than man, older than all superficial chatter and pitiful humanoid complaints of everyday troubles, all of it gets drowned in this ancient song, audible to anyone, if only we cared to listen.

Marking Samaa's 50th digital release, this new album continues AodioiboA's journey. The name Acura Damata comes from his stunning and life-changing experiences living in the middle of nature for many years in Brazil, where he also produced most of this album. Wild nature, especially a forest, can easily overwhelm us; at first glance, it is rarely ordered, but it is more of an intertwined chaos of rocks, plants, creatures, and the four elements. But if we pay attention, a whole universe of beauty and togetherness unfolds, and we can absorb the healing energy of nature around and in ourselves and connect to pure love, far from any of the distractions our modern societies keep us trapped in. "I believe we cannot experience anything close to this in a concrete jungle". Wild nature is not easy and straightforward; it's only for some; it is an adventure, an experience for the brave and a paradise for the dreamer, as is this album. Pila joined the trance current through the electronic, techno scene, introduced to it by his older brother, also a DJ.
After many years spent out on the floor as a music aficionado, DJ-ing came naturally. His first gig was in 2002. mixing techno. His first trance gig was (somewhat ironically) at the SeaSplash Reggae Festival in Pula in 2007. He soon became part of the Ministry of Psychedelia team and in the next couple of years his focus was in organizing MP parties, festivals and ChilliBar gatherings – the chill out fraction of the Ministry of Psychedelia. He has played at countless local parties and festivals, as well as abroad.
He adjusts his style to the time, place and atmosphere, but he tends to choose harder, darker and more psychedelic tunes, so a lot of tracks from labels like Zenon Records, Sangoma Records, Forestdelic Records, Blue Hour Sounds and more can be found in his sets.
In his spare time, he tells tales to his son, roams the nature and grows vegetables.
