Cologne/Leipzig based dj and Paryìa label owner @mariemontexier treats us with a powerful prime time mix. This hour was recorded and played in the middle of the night at @pitchmusicandarts last March. It's a strongly percussive driven hour in which you’ll discover lots of different drum dynamics. Snares, breaks and toms keep on changing its pace, rhythms and tones while she’s maintaining a propelling, uplifting and energetic flow. Her love for late 90’s and early 00’s house cuts shines through in this mix. This combination results in a timeless dance tunnel with an unstoppable bounce that get’s you right into the pleasure zone!

The concept of this mix is biome rave. Each arch/section is based on different outdoor environments where I imagine a perfect dancefloor.

This set was truly the icing on the cake that night 

 Every record was laid down with precision, like he knew exactly what the dancefloor needed in each moment. It was a journey, a story, and you could feel it in the room.

Thomas brings a depth of experience that runs deep. From his early days as a runner at De School to becoming a core part of OXI and Tresor, he’s what you'd call a true club rat, and it shows in his sets.

 Countless hours spent on both sides of the booth have given him a unique instinct for sound and timing. It’s something hard to put into words… but isn’t that the point of music.

Broken Noise is a Berlin Based label and collective founded by three friends bound by an obsession for musical exploration and experimentation. The label aims to show the more eclectic side of dance music, fusing palettes of sounds and creating unlikely combinations.
