We made this track as a love letter to skateboarding. My brother and my friends and I all grew up skating and it's just such and enveloping culture and amazing art form for a silly piece of wood meant for kids to ride.

This song (the original) is just so unbelievably good, me (Thuli) and Yesteryear were just obsessing about it until I asked him to remix it with me, and he came back the next day with the basis for this mix all laid out. Bonkers stuff. Anyway we both started working on it, got Pink Horse to lay down some Bass and Waxsner on Guitar, and Zeek to record some analog synth magic. I also put my own voice in there which might seem like an odd choice but I just love how fred will sample something and then build off of that sample to add a whole other verse or something to a song. It just expands the original context in this really cool way and so that was kind of a weird homage to that. I love how it turned out I just think everyone really put down something special on to this track and it was just an awesome experience to make this with my friends.

We love Dax Flame, and when he put out his debut single, I knew we had to make a remix of it and put our flavor into this beautiful song he made about what his fans mean to him. As a massive fan myself I really hope what we did means something to him because I cannot tell you how much his content means to us. An OG of YouTube, a comedic genius, and an absolute legend.
