Formed in East London in 2013 Broken DC bring a twin guitar attack with blissed out vocals and set to a white wash collage of sounds, both light and dark. The line up includes members of pedigree from bands such as Fabric, Capricorns and Pettybone. Their debut album *Astragal*, named after the Albertine Sarrazin book, and incidentally Patti Smith's favourite work of fiction, is a work of pure unadulterated beauty.
