Upside Down

Most Outstanding Duo…That's a moniker that these two artists don't take for granted and don't take lightly. Two very different paths have led this pair to one another. Knowledge has had his share of disappointments and frustrations during his pursuit of a music career. He has dealt with countless empty promises and con artists who were more interested in pockets than his music. His long road led him to Lightchild where he was finally able to make his music without the worry of the many pitfalls he had endured before. On the other hand, Don Devine has been in and out of music for some time, often discouraged at the lack of opportunity to make the type of music that he wanted to. He sporadically made different moves in music. At times he was ghost writing songs for other people or providing features for hooks on other artists' music. There were times where he lost the drive for the industry, but never lost the passion for music. He got his hands on a copy of Knowledge's “Love is Pain” EP and was so impressed with the material, production, and execution of the project that he felt this was exactly who he needed to deal with to make great music and thus M.O.D. was born.

This tandem shares the same ideals and they make a different type of music that not only evokes emotion but makes you think as well. They are nonconformists in their own right, tired of an industry that has essentially gone stale with “cookie cutter” music and has been saturated with imitators and duplicates that are afraid to stray away from the norm. This pair feels that they are the remedy for a sickened industry. Armed with incredibly creative minds, great lyrics, and unwavering passion, this duo has the necessary tools to etch their name in music's history.
