For the first fragment of the year, I want to share with you an immersive journey by Formant Value.

Living in London with Italian origins, Lorenzo’s music offers a wide range of sounds. Today’s profound experience is an invitation into an authentic and richly textured world.

‘’ Even if nature plays an important role in my creativity, also a different environment can be inspiring. London inspires me but in a different way, pushing me out of my comfort zone, experimenting with new genres and sounds. When I do music, I have the need to tell something, but it’s an unconscious process.  Other times it’s just from a rational process, coming from working and experimenting with new things. ‘’

TechnoTrippin' Podcast 135 mixed by Hydrous (NO).

Hydrous is Per Christian Berg. A producer and a DJ based in Oslo, Norway. Working within music as a sound technician as well as having a number of projects across a wide range of styles and expressions, ranging from ambient and psychedelic rock to psy-chill and techno. With his project Hydrous the focus and style is rooted in the hypnotic, psychedelic and atmospheric side of techno. Drawing a big part of his inspiration from nature, especially the Nordic scenery as well as meditative states, bringing these threads of inspiration throughout his productions as well as DJ sets.

@mindarchives is Diego, an explorer of deep and psychedelic techno rich in minimalist atmospheres, also known for bringing people and music together at his Aroma Cósmico events from Galicia to Portugal.
He is currently one of the resident DJs at Gare Porto and the curator of the recently created Label @frequencia-introspectiva.

Conscious Listening' is a podcast series by Pregnant Void record label that explores soundscapes born from the connection between deep ethereal music and the most advanced electronic musical experiments. 

This month's Podcast chapter comes from Roman Ćinske, cultural event creator based in Berlin and creative director of Aerial Palettes. The title of the mix is called 'Dawn Reveries' and the concept circles around finding the beauty in the repetition of morning rituals. It's an immersive depth and understated allure performance of patterns that occur so often they become automated enough to hold the listener rapt in a state of daydreamed reality.

Kairogen is a DJ and producer from Glasgow, Scotland. In the two years she has been active as a DJ she has played some of the UK’s biggest clubs and festivals, including a residency with Slam’s Return To Mono at Sub Club, as well as supporting acts such as Avalon Emerson and Perc. 

A background of working in clubs and an education in visual arts has shaped Kairogen’s approach to playing and making music, enjoying textural rhythms and emotive melodies. Kairogen’s style can vary from ambient pieces through to house and techno - preferring to choose in the moment what seems fitting for the context and time rather than subscribing to a particular genre. Previous releases have been on labels such as Soma Records and deep techno label Space Textures.

Josephine’ Soundscapes es Jose Salas, creador audiovisual y promotor de la cultura alternativa en Madrid, en activo desde hace 2 décadas. En el ámbito musical trabaja como Dj, radio host, promotor y programador en clubes e instituciones, así como en proyectos de radio y colaboraciones de diversa índole.
Actualmente, parte su trabajo se materializa desde la promotora independiente a_mal_gam_a, que codirige junto a Diskoan, desde la que desarrolla iniciativas como Dance Cave Madrid. Su radio de acción se expande formando parte de otros proyectos culturales, colectivos o personales, como CALMA en Zapadores Ciudad del Arte, temple @ Espacio Perpedicular, Festival BetaPública de Teatros de Canal, las sesiones Vanishing Point o Campos de Marte @ Radio Relativa, su podcast dedicado a la música experimental.
