Next Level - Old School Beat With New School Vibes

The starting point of this beat was the ‘Red Sea’ melody from the Pharaoh Beta pack. I chopped it up and doubled the melody with the ‘Tape Vibe’ one shot for the main hook, but kept the sample pretty much in its original form for the intro, breakdowns and outro. At first I was expecting to have to use many more samples from other sources since the beta pack is just a preview pack. But it all just kinda fell into place and in the end all the drums, all the FX and all the melodic elements except for the strings, brass and piano in the background are from the beta pack - the sounds just work really really well together! I had a lot of fun making this one, and I hope you can hear that when listening to the track.
