Hailing from the South-West, Tummy Talk are a duo whose unique and trippy breed of electronic music is fast winning them fans amongst the psychedelic underground. Their sound can best be described as a mutant hybrid of techno, tech-breaks and progressive psy: deep and twisted, but with massive dancefloor clout and served up with razor-sharp production values. 

With their second EP for Broken Robot, Tummy Talk bring us three new tracks of their squelchy, night-time goodness. A essential release for the real heads out there.

Tummy Talk - Motion Response (Sample)

After some serious studio time, BAD TANGO returns with a fresh 2-track release which takes his sound to a whole new level. The title track INTO THE FRAY is an energetic yet sophisticated affair, with intricate evolving acid leads woven around a driving 16th-note bassline and a bouncy break.
 
 For the second track AT THE EDGE, Bad Tango teams up with friend and guitarist Polymetrics for an altogether mellower excursion. Ambient guitar melodies, lush harmonies and trademark Bad Tango squelch are the order of the day. The kind of tune which conjures up images of sunrise on a beach in Goa.

Hailing from Australia and New Zealand respectively, expert tech-breaks producers Roboteknic and Ap3x have teamed up for this their first EP for Broken Robot.
 
 Ap3x's Vimana heads up the release, taking us on a journey through an intricate yet minimal soundscape with mind-warping sonic acrobatics. Next up is Roboteknic's See The Light: a deep and broody affair which evolves and builds. Finally, the two artists collaborate with It Will Kill You. A more upfront track with a pulsing bassline and bouncy groove.
 
 All together, these are three essential tracks for the high-tech music lover.

Following PRODUCER TECH's competition to remix Neurodriver's seminal 2009 acid-breaks track SIDEWINDER, Broken Robot are proud to present the four winning entries. 

Hailing from Swansea, Kris Thomas clinched the top spot with his stunning psy-breaks rework. Kris is no stranger to psychedelic music production, being one half of the psy-trance act Loose Connection, and releasing downtempo pay and dub by the name Eurithmy. Here he presents his remix under the new moniker SENSE DATUM. We hope we hear a lot more music like this from Kris in the future!

Neurodriver - Sidewinder (Sense Datum Remix)

Following PRODUCER TECH's competition to remix Neurodriver's seminal 2009 acid-breaks track SIDEWINDER, Broken Robot are proud to present the four winning entries. 

French producer MARTOPETER is no stranger to Broken Robot, having won the label's previous remix competition, and subsequently had many commercial releases. Here, he turns in a relentlessly hammering psy-breaks rework of his own which attained second place in the competition.

Portuguese producer Tekbot turns in a sharp, psy-gressive remix which snagged him 3rd place. We definitely want to hear this one out of a big stack in the sunshine!

After a huge debut, Israeli duo Split & Jaxta are back again with another floor shaking-release for Broken Robot. The title track SPECIES blends a tough, stomping electro beat with blissed-out leads and acid lines and a hint of euphoria for maximum crowd-pleasing effect.
 
 The second track Nu-Normal is another hard-hitting, electro-tinged affair, this time with squelchy pay-esque lead synths. As the track breaks down, a voice gives us an appropriate message about how technology will change our lives. The track is given a stripped-back techy breaks remix by non other than BROKEN EYE, whose remix concludes this trio of heavy hitters.
