Over the last year, the Brøken Syndicate has pushed a number of bass-driven, low-slung jams that often fall within the realm of UK bass, garage and breaks. They’ve excelled at picking up fresh artists and giving them a proper platform to build a following. Daze Prism’s latest falls right into the Brøken sound. The dark and foreboding piano breakdown is a proper foreshadowing of the wompy bassline business that drops afterward. The drums and bass are front and center, like they should be, with vocal snips and glitchy edits jumping off in all the right places. It’s fabulous UK bass business from this London up-and-comer.
