The next release on Ara-u’s No Static / Automatic comes from Konerytmi aka Kiril Junolainen. The Konerytmi project began in 2020 combining electro, techno and acid sounds with a gliding and clean-edged production aesthetic. On Moottoritie EP he channels in the energy and flow of traversing the speed-limitless autobahn while giving a cool nod to the aesthetic of Scandinavian electro sounds a la Stilleben Records.

With over 20 years of production and performance under their belts Italian electro-punk duo Franz & Shape are known for their Synth Wave and Electronic music influenced EBM-tinged beats, laced with a high dose of energetic bass lines and rhythm structures.
For the .001 EP they have teamed up with fellow Italian talents TenGrams. TenGrams comprises brothers Alessandro and Davide Piatto; Davide being a member of the legendary N.O.I.A. who are widely credited as one of the groups responsible for the birth of the Italo Disco movement.
The EP showcases the four’s combined production talents, varied influences and extensive knowledge in two very well crafted Electro pieces, bringing to the fore their collective love for tough beats, infectious basslines and clever and impactful melodic elements.

PREMIERE: Franz & Shape v TenGrams - Quantum Drift [ Bass Agenda Recordings ]

Kicking off the New Year with Yerevan-based DJ and producer yutani and his latest EP, Dead Whales. This four-track release explores ritualistic, esoteric electronica, crafted using a combination of DAW production and field recordings. Active in the music scene since 2020, yutani has released tracks on labels like Ferma, Get Busy, and many others.

Dead Whales is a sonic journey filled with rhythms and textures designed to evoke an esoteric atmosphere, drawing inspiration from yutani's childhood memories. The EP's title track incorporates whale sounds that are eerie and otherworldly, a choice so striking it inspired the EP’s name. In “Dle Yaman,” yutani weaves the vocals of legendary Armenian folk singer Hayrik Muradyan, performing the traditional song “Dle Yaman,” into his composition.

Dive into this esoteric blend of mysticism and sound. Enjoy the journey.

Colombian imprint Furatena return with 'AX-V1', a razor-sharp various artists dispatch aimed straight at the post-industrial underbelly of the club...Our pick lands on /DL/MS/’s ‘Regressive Behaviour’, a piece of sonic brinkmanship clocking in at a neurotic 146 BPM. The track kicks off like an alarm from another planet, a strobe-lit march of arpeggiated distress signals and saturated low-end mechanics. FX-smeared synths squeal through the mix like panic-stricken comms in deep space, while its haunted textures hang like ozone in a malfunctioning cryochamber.

For our next physical release, FERMA proudly welcomes Fragedis. A driving force in the local underground for over two decades, Fragedis is renowned for his eclectic, genre-blending, DJ sets and productions. Staying loyal to the craft and deeply committed to the culture, he is also co-hosting Healthy Summer in Crete, one of Greece’s most revered festivals for authentic rave culture.

This release features six tracks that perfectly encapsulate FERMA’s sound identity and forward-thinking vision. The A-side opens with “Teras”, an atmospheric piece with immersive vocals that lay the foundation for the journey ahead. “Thrust Reverse” cranks up the intensity with industrial-driven arpeggios, primed to ignite the dancefloor. Closing out the first side is a stripped-down reprise of “Teras”, reimagined by a legendary artist who has shaped the Athenian industrial sound - true name strictly confidential.

Flipping to the B-side, “Live in Lies” drifts into deeper territory, weaving atmospheric pads and trancey synth sequences for introspective, eyes-down moments. Bringing it all home, “Fasaries” delivers an electro spinoff that rounds out the release’s sonic character and journey.

Physical wasnt enough and "Body Pressure" has been added in the mix as a digital bonus :)
