MUSIC FROM THE BRONSK
Music from the Bronsk is Bronsky Eleven’s second full length studio album. Recordings started shortly after the relaese of Burgers and Wine in 2014. Music from the Bronsk took over one and a half year to record and master and is self-published.

OUR STORY
After an intense and in-depth discussion about a possible band name, and after having debated a list with over 250 possible names, BRONSKY ELEVEN was formed in May 2011 in Munich.

Freshly parted from their singer, Matt Green, Andreas Kohn, Florian Sedlacek and Markus Kink were seeking for a fresh approach to their music. Heavily influenced by musicians such as Bruce Springsteen or the Police and coming from very diverse musical backgrounds (such as Jazz & Soul, Punk & Ska and Prog Rock) the four musicians started out with no specific musical directions in mind. It was the constellation with piano and saxophone that lended their songs the special sound and touch.

In fall 2011 they recorded their first three-song-demo named Full Trøttel and it was the music on this CD that brought Thomas Riegl, a renowned Munich-based guitarist, to the formation. Jazz singer Julia Richter completed the line-up not long after she has had a guest appearance on the demo.

A few well-attended shows at the Kyeso Music Bar in Munich and some other venues left behind a dancing and cheering audience.

In the meantime, songwriting continued and by the end of 2012, BRONSKY ELEVEN started to record their first album. The album "Burgers and Wine" appeared in February 2014. The music is a lively combination of grooving drums and bass, catchy tunes and hooklines that drive the jazzy saxophone riffs, the melodic piano and the Mark Knopfler-like guitar riffs & solos.
