Theme: Restorative Compassion (Rahma / Karuna / Maitri). The fusion of all-encompassing compassion (Rahma), active compassion to relieve suffering (Karuna), and universal loving-kindness (Maitri). This theme moves beyond passive care to the active, skillful labor of repair. It sees brokenness—in people, relationships, societies—not as a reason for discard, but as a call to the sacred, patient work of mending, restoring value, and making whole.

Central Metaphor: The Mender's Thread. The fine, strong, and skillful means (compassion, patience, honesty, justice) used to repair what is torn. The mender values the whole too much to discard the damaged part, and the act of repair often adds a new layer of strength and beauty.

Narrative: The track begins with observing a tear in the social/emotional "cloth" and choosing to mend rather than discard. The chorus defines the mender's art. Verses illustrate mending a friendship through honest repair (verse 2), offering kindness to a stranger (verse 3), and addressing small injustices (verse 4). The bridge describes the thread's composition (listening, seeing) and strength. The track emphasizes the reciprocity of mending—being willing to be mended (verse 5)—and expands the scale to mending communities with justice (verse 6).
