This track is influenced by the ancient Vespers and Gregorian chants of the 9th and 10th centuries. This is my interpretation of these styles bought forward into this century.

This track is a cinematic approach to Vespers. I have introduced more complex melodic ideas and incorporated a more acoustic sounding accompaniment while still keeping the over all spatial, free sound.

August is one of the moodier, darker sounding tracks on my album, Take Heart. Inspired by winter, it introduces a built-up tension with little regard for release. This track features a heavily distorted harmonised bowed electric guitar line.

This track is about releasing tension, emptying the mind and re-focusing the heart. I wanted this track to create excitement, expectation and inspiration within the listener.

Arrival is influenced by the emotion of arriving at a destination. This track brings modernised string sections and 80's style drum fills together to quickly pull the listener into a feel good beat that gets the foot tapping and the blood pumping.

Take Heart is about the realisation that everything is going to be okay. No matter what is going on around you God is with you and is taking care of you always. This track surrounds the listener in natural organic timbres that relieve and settle the soul.

Even through the rain, things can be beautiful. Rain is about the changing seasons in life. From sailing out of stormy seas and making it to dry land with the boat still intact. This track creates an atmosphere that puts you there and gets you through.

Times is about the good times spent with the people you love. This track is upbeat and full of fun. I have used instruments that sound fun and bring joy to the heart.
