A Love Unfinished (Demo)

One of our biggest inspirations has been bluegrass in a very subtle but important way. The precise and emotional sound of Alison Krauss and the Union Station has always been in the background for vocal influence. We saw them in concert in Searcy, Arkansas in 2011 and it made us realise just how much work it takes to be that perfect live. A lesson for us. This is a cover of that band. Vocals by Leanne Jay Brookes and music and male backings by Phil Brookes.

 We are a band from Cardiff, UK. We play 'alternative blues' music - we love writing and playing from the soul. All about the grit of life and the magic of artistic expression. 

Music is in our veins and it's the glue that holds us. The majority of the band have been friends and playing music together for over ten years. The band started as a duo, Leanne and Phil. We then got Chris in as the third member. After a successful recording weekend, we brought in Ralph and Mark.
