Teaming up for their very first musical collaboration, two of Hospital Records’ pinnacle figures Grafix and Degs come together on ‘Empty Bottles’ to kickstart the label’s 25th year. With Grafix’s solo story continuing to flourish with his heavyweight releases ‘Stutter’, ‘Onyx (feat. Chrissie Huntley)’, and ‘Parallel’ with Metrik in 2020, and Degs’ persistent creative output seeing him rise to the top following his debut album “Letters From Ndegwa’, this sonic infusion is one not to be reckoned with.

Opening up about the struggles he has faced over the past year, Degs’ unfeigned lyricism and raw vocal melodies rest harmoniously alongside inspiring synth bursts and cutting-edge drum work laid down by Grafix. Expect euphoria, realism and a sense of hope for the future as both of their sounds combine on this unmissable drum & bass banger.

Recent months have seen successes flow in for both Grafix and Degs, with Grafix garnering radio support from the likes of Rene LaVice, Danny Howard, Charlie Tee and Mollie Collins. Degs graced the drum & bass community in early 2020 with his debut album ‘Letters From Ndegwa’, followed up with his astonishing remix project ‘Versions From Ndegwa’ which featured six new interpretations from Bladerunner, AC13, Winslow, T.R.A.C & Karina Ramage and Degs’ collaborative neo-soul project with his brother - Kikuyu Soul.
