In summer 2014, I was working construction, before my journey took me overseas to Europe. The foreman would dial in classic rock radio every day and "Fame" came on multiple times every, single, day... This was also a couple years before I began my production journey. After overcoming the diabolically frustrating repetition of the song, I could hear exactly how I would add my own twist on this song, but I knew it would be sometime before my production skills would catch up with my ideas; such is the hardship of a beginning producer. Flash-forward to today, I present to you my take on David Bowie's hit classic, made with funk and love!

Brick House is EASILY one of my favorite funk tracks from the era. I tweaked and revised and tweaked this idea for the last few months to even try to make something I felt remotely lived up to the pure hype that is the original. I think I found a sound that represented me and my current evolution of production. I hope you enjoy it, 'cus she's a BRICK!

When Wongo heard @confidenceman it was love at first sight, a post 2000’s gaping hole that was left in his heart had now been filled.

Confidence Man is more than just a band. Its a feeling.

Its the feeling of approval when doing something stupid.

The same type of approval that reassures you Barbie Girl by Aqua is actually a banger!

And again the same approval that when you first heard Basement Jaxx – Do Your Thing while shopping, you purchased shit you didn’t need.

Approval that pop music is not dead, repetitive and must contain an 808.

It’s that APPROVAL that leads Wongo and Confidence Man to cross paths.

When asked to remix Better Sit Down Boy, Wongo may or may not have gone half-mast. But one thing we know for sure is he stayed true to the original but gave it his twist. Wongo is no stranger to remixing pop music after remixing a bunch of artists like Beyonce, Pharrell and Azealia Banks.

After road testing his remix across the US over New Years Eve, he has decided to give out this remix.
