At the heart of the summer we’ve decided to unload the long awaited return from one of Brooklyn Fire’s core artists, Amsterdam producer and sonic healer Doctr. Straying from our usual single offerings, Daydreams expands to four tracks all exploring what we’d refer to as future Balearic.

Still carrying the domineering percussion that has made previous electro ventures Zombies and Freakshow some of our most popular, Daydreams implores a tedious attention to detail in both sound design and structure. Hypnotizing rhythms and ample bass will immediately have your local pool party grooving or likewise, reinvigorate any sunrise set pushing into the afternoon. These records implore you to dance; which is exactly why we had to have them.

For the last couple of years I have released a track on Valentine’s Day in the theme of löööve. This year it’s an unofficial release called “Hooked On Love” under the series “Bootleg Boogie”.

For it to be a Bootleg Booige I need to borrow something from another track. Don’t worry - I put it back later. No one will notice. This time I borrowed from the band Third World and if you know the title of the song from which I borrowed - you’re old! Just like me.

And I added some cool spoken words from Shag Queen.

SpectraSoul - The Curb (James Zabiela Remix)

Following the success of his recent Kompakt single "Somewhere," John Tejada returns to his own Palette Recordings imprint with "Anaphora." After a series of collaborative projects with fellow artists, Tejada distinguishes "Anaphora" as his first solo release on Palette since 2009 and presents a double headliner of his trademark musicality and driving rhythms, delivering a set of two eruptive grooves with a focus that has earned Tejada the respect of both listeners and peers alike.
"Anaphora" continues where John's 2006 smash "The End Of It All" left off, showcasing Tejada's trademark use of hopeful melodies and emotive sequences. It highlights his undeniable quality of crafting arrangements that rise above monotony.
Continuing where Tejada's "Mono On Mono" and "Eurotunnel" left off, "Bode's law" explores a darker, more driving side of the two songs. Furious analog synths and drums orbit each other in syncopation to create an engaging rhythm that is hypnotic and inspiring.
