Brother E grew up on glamrock, new wave, punk and noise rock, metal, industrial and – of course – disco. In 1989 he discovered acid house and techno. He became a dj and started collecting records that most dj's did not want to buy. Records that were a little rawer, groovier, deeper or weirder. In the years to follow, he organised several underground parties and dj’ed at many more.
Brother E has always had a very broad music taste. In his techno mixes you’ll hear straight as well as broken beats, pumpin’ basslines (influences from new wave, dub, disco and house), freaky, distorted sounds (influences from ambient, noise rock, metal) and melancholic or hazy melodies.
