White Tara (Sitatara) White Tara is the Tara associate with compassion and long life. The White Tara mantra is very often chanted with an individual in mind, in order to entreat Tara to bless them with the long life and the compassion that they need to overcome obstacles.

It means “I prostrate to the Liberator, Mother of all the Victorious Ones.” By calling on Tara’s protection from danger and from our fears with a sincere motivation to be relieved of our suffering for the benefit of all beings, we can gain the multiple benefits of selfish altruism, and compassionate action, becoming happier ourselves as we help others.

Everyone is Carrying Water

Fair Palestine tells the story of some of the inspirational Palestinian people resisting the Israeli Occupation with courage and dignity. Farmers working to keep their land fruitful; Women working to teach children that they are valuable and beautiful, and challenging the Israeli soldiers that undermine their sense of self-worth; Villagers demonstrating to access the water wells that have been taken from them by Illegal Israeli settlers. These are everyday experiences in Palestine, and still yet extraordinary acts of courage.
