A great upbeat old school Australian song played by Brothers of the Sea about sheering sheep, because apparently there wasn't much to write a song about that day so long ago! It's also sometimes known as the "Lime Juice Tub," which makes even less sense ... It's Irish enough for us, especially when combined with the reels "The Mason's Apron," and "The Devil's Dream," as we did here! Hope you enjoy!

We have only one rule in Brothers of the Sea, and that's that we don't play any feckin' children's music and nothing about bloody unicorns or such malarkey!!

... Except this fun little ditty that is an old Irish children's song that has survived the ages! It's tons of fun! You gotta' hear it!! 'Specially if you're Patrick Murphy...

For this one, we chose a fine traditional reel, "Miss McLeod's Reel," (which is also sometimes Mrs McLeod's Reel and sometimes McCloud's Reel because that's what happens to old Irish reels sometimes when they get married). It needs a little extra spunk, so it's paired up with a traditional sea shanty, "Whup Jamboree," which is about all I need to say about that one. Give 'er a listen and be delighted!
