Brouqade is back with the third installment of its Various Artists series, and this time, it’s packed with a rich and eclectic mix of contemporary electronic music. This compilation brings together a collection of innovative artists, each showcasing their unique sound, perfectly embodying the label's broad vision.



Listeners will be taken on a journey starting with the atmospheric soundscapes of Salar Ansari, flowing seamlessly into the soulful and reflective beats of Fred P. As the compilation unfolds, you'll encounter intricate grooves and mesmerizing textures. Malin Genin and L&F add their refined productions, which are laced with subtle tension and spatial depth. Meanwhile, Kosh injects his signature energy with a fresh twist, keeping things exciting. To round it all off, Dana Ruh shares her distinctive style, offering a warm, immersive experience that's firmly rooted in rhythm.

BQDDIG003 - Various Artists Part Three

To mark the 50th release on Brouqade, we reach back into the catalog and release as a set of remixes Arno's album “We Perfectly Understand Each Other Until We Start To Talk” a work that touches on the finer problems inherent to human communication.For this unique Album, released in 2019, three distinctive reworkings offer new breath to the original tracks: Baby Ford conducts a lean and hypnotic revision played in minimal fashion, Kuyateh widens out textures with deep organic rhythms and Dana Ruh puts her distinctive groove-orientated stamp on the material.

The bonus on the release is from Arno — a meditative composition that acts as middle ground in terms of his musical language.

In operation midway between introspection and movement, BQD050 depicts the very spirit of Brouqade: depth, warmth, a timeless dancefloor poetry.

Like a prophecy VID´s new release "CAMELIE" whisper in you ear and enchant your mind. 
The EP is starting with "ROOTS", a solid analog drum groove, organic sounds strike their roots in a continuous crescendo, conquering the terrain on their way in to your soundsystem. 
In the second track "CAMELIE"a magic tone of a piano is shimmering through the air accompanied by a straight electronic groove. 
The piano riff/ melody was written especially for Vid's mother, Camelie. She was his total inspiration in this concept. This is his dedication to her.
Anthea´s remix is a child of the night, incl. royal ;) beats to take you away directly to the dancefloor.

Brouqade & Friends Mix Series 009 _ Julietta

Brouqade & Friends is back with a special edition by the talented Pily (@pilyofficialmusic) comprised entirely of her own original unreleased & self-released productions. 

As a fully immersive curator of sound with over a decade of experience, Pily’s journey began at a young age while nose diving into the world of melodies and rhythms. She was introduced to the art of dj-ing, crate digging and musical history by a good friend.  Her musical palette knows no boundaries, seamlessly blending elements of acid house, break beats, Italo Disco, and electro to create a sonic soundscape.  

Recently, Pily released with TCR002 edits of Locomia, TCR003 currently in shops, and her first EP with Partisan Sub Label, Parti Pillz: Orca EP 

Drawing inspiration from an eclectic array of artists, Pily's musical tastes are as diverse as they are dynamic. Influenced by the likes of Psychic TV, Deee-lite, Peaches, Freaky Chakra, and iconic acts such as Depeche Mode and Cabaret Voltaire, her soundscapes resonate with a blend of nostalgia, innovation, and raw energy.

With the launch of its brand-new sublabel BQDDIG, Brouqade is opening a fresh chapter in the label’s history – experimental, open-minded in style, yet still carrying that unmistakable Brouqade flair. The first release, Various Artists Part One, is a multifaceted compilation that explores new sonic landscapes while bringing together both familiar faces and exciting newcomers.

On board are Markus Sommer, Phil Evans & Martine, whose deep yet driving tracks help shape the sound profile of this new venture. Dylan Payne adds a hypnotic energy – subtle, yet gripping. Jus Ed surprises with a stripped-down groove that speaks between the lines, while Dana Ruh picks up the pace with playful rhythms and a sharp edge.


Each track on Various Artists Part One is a statement: unique on its own, but unified within the context of the whole. This compilation is not only a showcase for the new sublabel, but also a glimpse into the direction its sound is headed – bold, raw, and unapologetically pure.

Vivian is a NYC based, born in Beijing and flew to the US by herself at 4.5 to meet her parents. Music was a way of expressing herself and connecting with the worlds around her - her music is deep, soulful, groovy, and most of all always true to what Vivian wants to express. You can find Vivian playing around North America, South America, and Europe this summer.

One of the Adelaide scene’s key players, Lenin (@lenadelaide) is precise, discerning, and cuts zero corners. As a DJ, the care and passion behind his selections is undeniable, with each record being exactly where it needs to be within one of his sets. 

When he’s not behind the decks, Lenin puts on parties under the Inside Out name, as well as installing and maintaining Funktion One soundsystems for countless other crews and venues in Adelaide, undertaking each with the same commitment to quality as with his mixing.

We welcome Justin Shaffer to the Brouqade & Friends Mix Series. Justin Shaffer is a vinyl DJ and multidisciplinary artist. 
 He plays elegant, groove-driven, dance music that inspires movement and is a deep lover of the dance floor and all it represents. 
 Born and raised in New York City, he now calls Berlin home. Prior chapters in Seattle and Bretagne, and a thread that still runs through San Francisco. 
 His influences include the bittersweet tail of the pre-Giuliani NYC club scene, the Detroit/Berlin axis, and the relationship between contemporary classical and electronic music. 
 He is also a sailor, photographer, and audio engineer.
