XIT (Crossing of Indian Tribes) Native American rock band that released two albums in the 1970s on the Motown label, "XIT" stands for "crossing of Indian Tribes". XIT often addresses themes of historic and contemporary Native American issues. Their initial recording, 1972's Plight of the Redman, is a concept album about the changes in Native American life since the arrival of Columbus. For American Indian rockers of all ages, XIT was the driving force of change.

1 Beginning

1. To end the continuing persecution, terrorism and genocide against Native people on native land by the Wasicu, as listed below, by all Natives claiming our Native identity and exposing to the world that these activities, as part of a 527 year old genocide against Natives in America, for the purposes of stealing and maintain control of stolen Native land and wealth: forced relocations, trails of tears, family separations, child kidnappings, child prisons, mass child rapes, apartheid border deaths,harrassment, police killings and terrorism, missing and murdered Indigenous women 

2. The awakening, liberation and empowerment of Native people in the Western Hemisphere and returning to majority rule on our Brown Continent. 

3. To educate and awaken our people and the world to the fact that we are Native American and not Hispanic, not Latino, not Immigrant, not Illegal, not alien and we have the right to be anywhere on our continent.

4. To educate and awaken our people and the world to the fact that we Natives make up 66% of the population of America with 600 million Natives and that we are the majority in America and the majority rules.

5.To educate and awaken our people and the world that the Southern USA border is an apartheid border intended to maintain a stolen white majority rule area on a majority Brown Native continent.

6. To educate and awaken our people and the world to the fact that the fake racial labels of Hispanic and Latino and the apartheid border, combined, keep Natives illegal and as a powerless minority in our own homeland.

7. To educate and awaken our people and the world to the imbalance and non-sustainability of the European worldview and way of life and to show that we and the world must return to the Natural Indigenous Ways of living of our Native ancestors.

8. To unify Native people across North and South America so that we have the power to end the terrorism and genocide against the Indigenous World in the Western Hemisphere.

9. To help build interconnected Indigenous communities where we come together and detach from the Wasicu system and live interdependently upon one another instead of dependenly on the Wasicu system.

10. To awaken Native people to the reality that the modern world of jobs, pollution, stores, authority, oppression, governments is not absolute and the only way we can live. Indigenous humans had lived much better ways on the planet sustainably and in balance for hundreds of thousands of years and the Wasicu way of life is inferior in every way to the traditional Indigenous Ways of living.

11. To awaken Native people to the reality that the Wasicu way of living, that we have been forced into, puts each of us in a war against God, murdering, raping and stealing with each human need that we meet.
