here's fun little song that i came up with way back in 2013)

So, starting at 00:09 it goes:

but at 00:52 the chorus kicks in, which is:

so basically this is the song about the fact that water helps you traverse the lava lakes freely.. about you being the master of lava as long as you have said bucket)))

an unfinished instrumental for one of my favorite songs, i really wanted to sing and record it, so i made this.. it's very skeletal, the middle solo sections are as good as missing, there are no chords yet, because i focused on making verses first and foremost) i actually recorded quite a few takes of vocals for this and even compiled them one time, but they don't sound all that great, so i'm hoping to re-record it sometime in the future..)

I made this back in 2013 to accompany my vocals and I even recorded a bunch of takes, but as soon as I tried to add them to the arrangement, they just felt off.. Maybe I'll finish it someday, but for now here's the latest (as in 3 years-old 'fresh') instrumental for singing along))
There's a slight improvisation in the middle that is the only real original portion of the song, the rest is the same, since this is a cover)

I used Proto PSG freeware plugin to recreate the instrumentation and some SEGA Genesis drum samples, so it's a hybrid between 8 and 16 bits)

i'm all about them SYNTHS, but i also like lo-fi aesthetics and it's the instruments themselves that matter the most to me in any given song..
if i was/had a better singer i'd gladly combine some vocals with those instrumentals, but in the meantime i'm mostly practicing and learning.. searching for that special style that i would feel at home with using..

i also love FM synthesis, specifically the one that's used in SEGA Genesis (YM2612), and the drum machines are my jam!!
