originally written in the 90's, my " take " on the fact that men don't just leave women, for another woman.... and women also sometimes leave their man, to be with another woman.. Of course now the whole subject of gender and the fluidity of relationships is more easily discussed and the taboo of who we love or have a relationship is less of an issue for more people.
In short... so the essence of the lyrics in this one holds true, probably nowadays for more " lovers scorned " than in the not too distant past...

Getting on a bit now, but still songwriting and hoping people like what they hear! I first started to play the piano when I was only six years old.
 By the time I was thirteen, I was grade 8 standard and my piano teacher told my parents that unless I was going to play as a classical pianist, there was no need for me to have any further lessons. I could sight read and play by ear to a good standard. So the kind of music and songs I have produced over the years, have ranged over a large genre catalogue... Mainly pop tunes of the day, with some more intricate works I have yet to finish. The truth is, I won't finish writing and playing, singing and arranging, until the day I die! ( hopefully a long time from now ! )... Music continues to be the greatest force and pleasure in my life. No matter how emotional/ sad the song, the theraputic effect stirs or calms my soul depending on the mood... I hope you enjoy some of what I have posted on here... 🎹💜🦋💜
