Aimed at providing a different insight into dance music the label Special place provides both acoustic and electronic sounds that are not sonically linked to a specific era, but all carry a shamanic or esoteric hinge. This EP is just that with the three amazing artists Mushrooms Project, Longhair and Eric Duncan all bringing their own take to this leftfield slomo disco to house vibe. It’s an honor to have them on board!

You gotta love Eric Duncan. Such a laidback, fun and easy going chap! After having turned NY upside down he currently resides in Bali when he's not touring amidst the pandemic. He actually remixed this track whilst in Brazil (how does he do that?). He probably has the vastest collection of selfies with DJ Harvey if this means anything. Berlin based Longhair has a string of releases on labels such as Bordello A Parrigi, Permanent Vacation or Love On the Rocks. He actually does sport long hair and probably has a third ear for turning music into untameable beat dance fury. And what about our hosts Mushrooms Project? Well they paved a solid catalogue with their characteristic shamanic house music releases, go check out for yourself!

DJ actif depuis plus de 20 ans sur la scène parisienne, Bruce Heller est le commandant de bord d’un vol intergalactique, mélangeant ses influences disco et électroniques, il est aussi à l'aise dans les références vintage que dans l'électro la plus actuelle. Grandement influencé par la mythique radio en ligne CBS/IFM, il est proche de Les Yeux Orange depuis de nombreuses années. Après 5 années au sein du collectif Deviant Disco, il se concentre sur la création de son label en 2022 !

Active on the Parisian scene for more than 20 years, Bruce Heller is the captain of an intergalactic flight melting disco and electronic influences, Bruce is both at ease with vintage releases or more  current productions. Largely influenced by the mythic CBS/IFM webradio, also close to Les Yeux Orange, long time companions, After 5 years among Deviant Disco collective, he is now focused on creating his own label in 2022!
