way to use the inspiration of another character! I can really feel the "Irish" in this.

somehow you crossed an ancient irish drinking song feel with modern rock and roll.  im sure that's a "thing" but to me it feels totally avant garde.  you kicked ass retro-fitting that guy's lyrics into this format and making it work.  fantastic storytelling and CLEVER lyricism man!  your other hand was on her what?  HAHAHAAHHAHAHA!  really creative wordplay to go with the killer performance and feel.

Classic Bruce. Needs to go in the live set. Nice!

I wake up in the morning, when then a voice I hear
“get off the floor you lazy arse, and pour yourself a beer”
I stand up behind the bar; a place I’ve slept before 
fill my tankard to the top, and stumble to the door￼￼

Must find a way, every day, to walk the path I swore 
for if I don’t, then mark my words; I’ll drink a little… 
More, more for everyone, hold your tankards high 
for if the Lord not strike me down, I’ll drink this damn place dry￼

It seems I’ve done it once again and slept all bloody day
