Globally respected drum and bass collective, Black Sun Empire aka Milan Heyboer,
Micha Heyboer and Rene Verdult just released their fifth studio album “From The
Shadows” (Oct 15th 2012) 

Black Sun Empire represents the finest in dark and tech fuelled dance-floor drum &
bass. Since bursting onto the scene back in 2000, they’ve continued to develop their
own unique style and sound, releasing numerous singles as well as four full-length
LPs and establishing themselves as leaders in the field. With their impressive DJ
skills and inspirational productions, Black Sun Empire has reached far beyond their
native Holland. They’ve toured around the world, with highlights including
Glastonbury and numerous other festival appearances, and continue to build on their
growing reputation as some of the most exciting and consistent performers in the
scene.

“From The Shadows” is a 100% Drum and Bass album. This masterpiece is the follow up
to the hugely successful 2010 'Lights And Wires' LP that demonstrated their
versatility across tempos whilst still staying true to their own sound. With “From
The Shadows”, containing twelve original tracks aimed for the dance-floor, BSE
delivers the ultimate Drum and Bass experience. Black Sun Empire's sound is as
unmistakable as it is without compromise; a combination of dark and impressive
themes, vocals, tough electronics and memorable melodies. Collaborations with
Noisia, Audio, Foreign Beggars, State of mind, Inne Eysermans (Amatorski), Rido,
Thomas Oliver, Youthstar and N.Phect showcase their expanding horizon.
Musically,”From The Shadows”‚ sees Black Sun Empire moving towards multiple exciting
eras.

Black Sun Empire appears at all major summer festivals and performs around 100 shows
a year. Their musical and creative strengths lead them confidently to their 2012
album release.

KillSonik have had an amazing year, and it’s all about to get a lot more exciting. They’ve done some absolutely huge remixes for the likes of Linkin Park, Calvin Harris, Example and Sub Focus who have all become fans of the mighty duo that is KillSonik. Not only busy in the studio they’ve managed to support the likes of Nero, Zane Lowe and toured various spots in the U.S Following on from the release of their debut single ‘Bloodlust’ on MTA Records is the hotly anticipated ‘Where The River Runs Black EP.’

Including a roller coaster of bass, guitar riffs, and full on astounding tracks. The lead track is Slaughterhouse and features full on power guitar riffs with an attention grabbing vocal, Walrus is a straight up bass monster, Je Te Veux is what happens when KillSonik set the tempo to 128 BPM and Where the river runs black is their take on Moombahton.
