The wonderful, joyful, always curious Daisylis has sadly passed away yesterday.

Here is an old epic track we did together some years ago, in collaboration with Gaby Cardoso. It was not available anymore, but I have decided to make it available again for a week or so, in memory of Daisy. Feel free to listen, download and share.

... "Here are the dragons" : in the Middle Ages, they wrote this mention on geographical maps to mark the limits of the known world - strange places, dangerous, extreme places, where terrifying monsters were supposed to live.

Bruno Karnel's new album explores some of these extreme places, lost in the ice ("Tromsø", "Mare Congelatum", "Opération Septentrion"), buried in the dark heat of Ancient Mexico ("Thiua"), or strangled by the deserts' sand (Lima, "La grise, la triste, l'horrible"). 

Somewhere between post rock ("Kusi Kuyllur"), heavy prog ("Tromsø", "Musique obsidienne") and lunar folk ("Négatif des vagues"), the 11 tracks of "Hic sunt dracones", sung in French or English, explore lots of musical territories as well.
