French Techno label Club Poison is a relatively new project by 14anger and already making a great impression.

The track we picked out by Commuter is called “Vegan Revenge” and forthcoming on their next various artists EP called “Cyanide.”

The track begins with a tame but tense groove signified by an increasing high pitched drone that keeps you on your toes. Quickly you are greeted with a whipping and lashing sound that resembles a lion being tamed. This, added to the low, bending, growls underneath is a perfect match. It wades forward into a suspenseful breakdown before really going crazy and launching into high octane mode with a nice splattering of a modular workout.

It’s already picked up a setlist feature from Samuli Kemppi and Juho Kusti of the brilliant Deep Space Helsinki Radio Show in Finland and should definitely be checked out.

Distorted guitars dominate the charts, denim jackets and studded belts are the latest fashion and the discos play hard rock songs. Welcome in 1986, welcome to the world of THE ORDER. In the 80s the world was still well. No helmets needed on motorbikes, smoking allowed in any pub and phone cells on every corner. No internet, no mobile phones and therefore a lot of time to hang around with friends. And practically you played with them in a rock band – as a lot of guys did back then. THE ORDER want this attitude to life back, want to feel the air flow on the their bikes, want to smoke in the pub while playing pinball for a new highscore. THE ORDER want back to the Eighties. And if it is only for the length of one album . 

The story so far… „1986“ is the fourth album by THE ORDER. With former releases „Son of Armageddon“ (2006), „Metal Casino“ (2007) and „Rockwolf“ (2009) the quartet found their place in the hardrock scene and present one of the leading old school bands. Bruno Spring, Andrej Abplanalp and Mauro Caciero have been around since the late Eighties in diverse bands (Swamp Terrorists, Gurd, Jerk…) The harmonic trio builds the perfect ground for the performances of outstanding singer Gianni Pontillo (Slädu & friends) to really go over the top – and that’s what he does…
