Recording of my set at TOYTOY JHB - March 24, 2023. I played 2 hours from 1am, keeping the pressure up most of the time, and then joined @Fabio909 to close the party down until 6am. Always an absolute pleasure to play to the receptive, educated audience that @welovetoytoy has built over the years and work out life's peaks and troughs on that Void sound system.

Joining forces with Detone boss Darren Emerson, who since his pioneering days with Underworld has remained at the forefront of the electronic scene across the last three decades for good reason, is a mission statement, showing that this illustrious trio are not resting on past laurels, but always developing themselves musically in exciting new directions.

Rather appropriately, in its original form ‘Tracer’ is an unmistakably heavyweight, pulsating, peak-time monster, loaded with menacing, fizzing, energetic, celebratory creative abandon. Meanwhile, Darren Emerson’s ‘Womb Mix’ develops ‘Tracer’ into an equally stunning, bombastic, stripped back, techno colossus, showcasing his supremely individualistic creative flair. 'Misunderstood' and 'Psilocin' are 2 track names that have become very recognisable to Damien Fisher, his productions and the noise they are making in today's scene.
'Misunderstood' was first featured by Richie Hawtin at TimeWarp25 and has received continued support, being featured in many of Hawtin's sets. Dark, groovy and percussive, typical of Damien's sound. This track features a minimal masterpiece remix by Malek Ales, a growing talent in both minimal and Techno. 
'Psilocin', the second original on this EP IS a track that takes you on a journey from beginning to end, holding the key elements of groove, mood and bass that captured Dubfire's attention in the Bridge_48 Studios competition in 2019!
