“Bruno Sanfilippo presents his latest EP, an introspective piano work, recorded at his Onix II Studio in the mountains surrounding Barcelona. 'Only Five Petals' was conceived during nocturnal sessions in the spring and summer of 2024, where Bruno explored the potential of his grand piano Kawai RX-3, allowing the stillness and mystery of the night to seep between each note. This mini album consists of 5 pieces based on structured improvisations, a characteristic facet of Sanfilippo's work that blends technique with intuition. Some tracks intertwine with subtle electronic soundscapes, creating a harmony between the acoustic and the electronic, the human and the ethereal. The cover art image created by Ximena Contreras seems to have emanated from the music itself.

Step 1: You may, yourself, be experienced recording drone music, or you may never have recorded any. You may not even be sure what drone music is, in which case read up a bit. Not matter your experience and familiarity, please give some thought as to what constitutes drone music.

Step 2: Now think about what makes a drone simple and what makes a drone complex.

Step 3: Now record a piece of drone music that begins simple, gets complex, and then gets simple again. And note: The simple drone at the end needn’t necessarily be the same sort of drone with which the piece opens.

Weightless is an EP of intricate original piano compositions by UK artist Alex Kozobolis. With a series of solo releases over the past few years and collaborations with artists such as Lee Chapman, Harry Edwards, and Anna Rose Carter, Weightless represents Alex's unique approach to composition and melody.

His touch on the piano is light and fluid; moving between dense sustained runs, which evaporate as soon as they are heard, to spaciously plotted notes. Weightless is the sound of weight itself lifting, of the earthly effect of gravity removed and allowing the listener to be suspended within mid-air, uninterrupted by pressures and restrains of the physical world. Coursing with energy, and running to take flight.

Each of the four tracks have been remixed by Siavash Amini, Tom Adams, Trnspt and Hedia, with very different, but cohesive results, expanding the tone of the EP into new areas.

Weightless will be available on limited clear vinyl, digipack CD and digital editions.

'Fragments of Scattered Whispers' is the sixth album from Endless Melancholy, a solo-project of Oleksiy Sakevych from Kyiv, Ukraine. It follows previous releases on labels such as Preserved Sound, 1631 Recordings and Hidden Vibes.

Arriving on CD, digital and heavyweight vinyl editions, 'Fragments of Scattered Whispers' is a collection of soft piano melodies and transparent ambient textures, gently flowing one into another. On this album Endless Melancholy continues with the tape sound explorations, started on his previous album 'The Vacation', but in a new, more distinctive way. On this occasion, Oleksiy teamed up with Krzysztof Sujata (known for his musical outfit Valiska), who did some outstanding job on processing the tracks through different kinds of tape recorders and mastering them afterwards. Accompanied by a stunning artwork by an acclaimed artist Gregory Euclide, 'Fragments of Scattered Whispers' is meant to evoke hazy reminiscences from the deepest corners of listener's mind, like a blurry photograph suddenly falling out of an old book.

Bruno is an Argentine pianist, producer, and classically trained composer based in Barcelona who writes for strings, piano, and electronics. 
In 1998 he started as a producer for ad21, a personal label that has released the majority of his albums. Although he also collaborated on several projects with the labels 7K!, Moderna Records, Thesis, 1631 Recordings [Universal/Decca], El Muelle Records, and Dronarivm, among others. In 2024, Bruno, as a co-owner, embarked on a new chapter by opening ad21's doors to pianists from around the world.
His Piano Textures series, started in 2007, is one of Sanfilippo’s most representative set of recordings, but he has also gained wider recognition in modern music – one of his piano compositions formed the basis for rapper Drake’s seminal hit, ‘Started From The Bottom’.
In addition to recordings available on streaming platforms, Sanfilippo has a series of solo and collaborative albums that are available exclusively through Bandcamp, some of which were released by American labels in physical format between 2008 and 2012.
Sanfilippo regularly performs at various live and multimedia events, and at festivals all over the world. He presents 'Refugio de Luz' in June 2025. In this EP, he continues his exploration of neoclassical music, offering compositions that blend emotional depth with elegant simplicity. Under the name Onix, he focuses on blending contemporary electronic atmospheres with intimate traditional orchestration.
