ABOUT THE LP - [ENG]

Starting from the not orthodox use of the instruments from John Cage, we decided to approach his musical philosophy in relation to the deep involvement of the observer through a creation of two-and three-dimensional virtual reality considered as a virtual instrument preparation.
What lies the basis of this concept is a pure random experiment, that is to say we set the rules, however, without restraining the experimentation that distinguished Cage. In addition to the instrument prepared for Visual Media we decided to separate audio from our natural environment, that each component of the group has created a sound basis on which to experience live.
Each of us will affect these instruments by making an individual contribution, thus realizing from time to time a relationship between unusual sound and improvisation. As regards the visual support, we start from the first act, where a microscopic world will run its life cycle in an accelerated time changed by man but with a life governed only by chance and it will reach the third and final act where the public, through the vision of Rorschach inkblots created and superimposed randomly, you will face in the mirror of the psyche.
The intent of the experiment is to bring the viewer with the reality of the facts from the microcosm to the unconscious through a deeper vision of himself and his surroundings.

Partendo dall’uso non ortodosso degli strumenti da parte di John Cage, abbiamo deciso di interpretare la sua filosofia musicale in funzione del coinvolgimento profondo dell’osservatore attraverso una creazione di realtà virtuale bi e tridimensionale, considerata come strumento preparato virtuale. Ciò che sta alla base di questo concetto sarà un puro esperimento casuale, vale a dire che ci siamo posti delle regole senza frenare però la sperimentazione che ha distinto Cage.
Oltre allo strumento preparato Visivo abbiamo deciso di realizzare dei supporti Audio separati dal nostro contesto naturale, ovvero ognuno dei componenti del gruppo ha creato una base sonora su cui sperimentare dal vivo. Ognuno di noi influirà su questi strumenti preparati apportando il proprio contributo individuale, realizzando così, di volta in volta, una relazione inedita tra suono preparato e improvvisazioni sonore.
Per quanto riguarda il supporto visivo, si parte dal primo atto dove un mondo microscopico percorrerà il suo ciclo vitale in un tempo accelerato modificato dall’uomo, ma con un ciclo vitale regolato solo dal caso e si arriverà al terzo ed ultimo atto dove il pubblico, attraverso la visione di macchie di Rorschach create e sovrapposte in maniera casuale, si troverà davanti allo specchio della psiche.
L’intento dell’esperimento è portare l’osservatore di fronte alla realtà dei fatti dal microcosmo all’inconscio attraverso una visione più profonda di se stesso e di ciò che lo circonda.
