BSSHT002 presents Jon Krieger -

Jon Krieger, AKA Jack, is a DJ and producer based in Edinburgh, UK. As a member of the Brutalism x Basseht team and a regular at Edinburgh’s infamous Overground nights, Jon has gone on to support the likes of SNTS, Mark Broom, AISHA and JASSS in recent years.

At the start of the pandemic, it was only then that he got into music production. Impressively, despite only having over a year’s worth of experience, Jon has released on labels such as Milkit, COUP and Carouse Records - plus a self-release 4 track EP earlier in the year. With no plans to stop, Jon’s main focus is to produce more music and to continue refining and paving his way. His style can be described as dark, hard, relentless and chaotic - an outcry toward the state of the current climate. He does not limit himself as to what genres he plays either, which can be heard both in his sets and productions, making him a very exciting and unique talent.

Jon’s track “Industrial Scale Dishonesty” is a no-nonsense industrial grinder, with gradual melodies and a spacey breakdown to soften up the rawness of this behemoth.
