@djwhattis is a Swedish Berlin based DJ who likes her dance floors wet ’n’ wild. She varies between industrial hard techno, hard techno, hard dance, hard core and hard trance.

Whattis co-runs the ultrasexy and queer music platform @bleaknarrative. They recently started organizing parties in Berlin through their event series BLEAKENING, so be sure to catch her on their next one!

KINETIC started his music career by playing Hard Techno in the illegal rave scene of Bern (Switzerland). His style has transformed in the last few years into Groove-hypnotic Techno, while he could record collaborations with different labels and promoters, especially with Inkom. For his growth as an artists, his role models such as Gomorra & Herrouine, Future 666 as well as BCCO Berlin label were a strong influence. However, the biggest impact on his journey was seing Near End playing with his amazing skills behind the desks and performing style in the dj booth.

SYNDICAST #026 YESNT

YESNT, a pioneering Berlin techno artist, developed his acoustic signature from the underground techno scene in Hannover before moving to Berlin for the start of the first corona lockdown. His sonic journeys lead rhythm driven across hypnotic and groovy towards industrial soundscapes. He sets sharp synthesizers, experimental noises, odd drumings and virtuous melodies vibrating in unexpected dimensions, this way of combining different elements made of fall for him.

With this set in particular, YESNT created a special, experimental and layered sound with three decks and an analog delay. Starting off with groovy and dubby tunes from e.g. Stef Mendesidis, Rove Ranger and Skee Mask, layering with more unconventional sounds from Donato Dozzy and Stanislav Tolkachev among others. Further exploring oldschoolish Trance from e.g. Alpha Tracks and 90s Techno from Cari Lekebusch. Enjoy the deep mind journey!
