WL//WH Premiere: UNIFIED METHOD "Floating Light" [Vives]

French record label based in Rennes, Vives, run by electronic DJ/producer and Organisme Texture resident, Weever, is going to release on April 6th, 2022, the new EP, titled "Forever In Waves", by the Greek electronic artist under the Unified Method moniker.

Unified Method consists of a sonic entity existing within various musical styles, from Drum & Bass, Techno and Industrial to IDM and Noise. His sound is heavily influenced by urban imagery, films, textures, psychoacoustics, technology and the notion that electronic music has the ability to generate emotions yet to be discovered or defined in conventional ways. Harshness, repetition, layering and, in a sense, melancholic optimism are the main characteristics to be found in this project.
WL//WH is pleased to premiere the opening, equally turbulent and atmospheric, heavily percussive techno cut "Floating Light".

Manifesting vocals, rumbling heavy kick drums and puncy snares, reckless but coalescing synthlines, warping basslines, and enraged analog soundscapes emanating from modular synthesizers emerge into an uncompromising, assertive stance as if to say ‘No time for dwelling what should have been but is yet to be. Occultists swings back into full gear with another full-length album in 2022, this time inviting Turkish producer Tolga Baklacioglu & Greek vocalist Chrysa T for their collaborative work titled ‘Dystopia’. Strengthening their circle of eclectic artists that emerge from the shadows, the nine-track offering showcases experimental shades of techno and electronica but with a gritty edge. Together paired with Chrysa T’s ethereal vocal style, which adds a layer of polarity to the harder-edged productions the release also features post-punk undertones that give the release an attitude all of its own.

Analogie Perdute comes after the respective publications of the two artitsts on Veleno Viola as a crowning of their long term relationship in and outside music: the evolution of time and participation here is also mirrored by the choice of publishing with their latter aliases, integrating both the importance of the future and the one of the looking back.
Even the style is blurred and incapsulated in between eras.
Analogie Perdute is indeed being themselves independently from the passing of time, itʼs embracing pain and inky boundaries, limits, insecurities, the abilities, the grit, the interior love in its different shapes.

Duo from Madrid conformed by S.Y.D and Krystall. They join their organic and emotional
musical experiences to keep sharing, investigating and growing in the electronic music.
S.Y.D: Dj since 1996 with more than 20 years spinning vinyl. Production, labels, live acts and dj sets. Got involved later in the musical field production creating and running a label and performing live acts to develop a musical journey based on sound flows of Techno, Electro, Industrial and EBM, until today.
Krystall: hedonism and eclecticism.
