Kit Monkman BRWC Interview

Soon to be seen on the big screen with Hercules as Nicolaus, Robert Whitelock looks back at his successful acting career so far, with some hilarious anecdotes involving Tom Hardy, a special encounter when casting for The Bank Job and what Hercules represents for him today.

Interview With Dana Ivgy, Star Of Next To Her

The anticipated sequel to The Blair Witch Project was released on DVD and Blu ray this week, nearly twenty years after the original. 

The release of the sequel came as a huge surprise to fans as it had been a closely guarded secret in Hollywood, with only a handful of insiders in the know. 

'Blair Witch' sees a young man and his pals Peter Jones, Ashley Bennett, and film student Lisa Arlington venture into the Black Hills forest in Maryland to uncover the mystery surrounding his missing sister who many believe is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch. Arlington takes a camera and wants to film the search for a documentary.

In a chat with our Angie, writer Simon Barrett - who is becoming one of the biggest names in modern horror cinema - explains how the film came about and what it was like keeping it a secret.

We managed to catch up with him in London as part of the Cinema Made in Italy 2019 at the Ciné Lumière to find out how he prepared for this role, his unusual approach to learn to speak with a Milanese accent and why he couldn’t understand a word from the other two lead characters…
