Inspired by the mental image painted by the Beatles in their song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.  Though it has nothing to do with the Beatles song, I just thought it would be cool to be able to fly through the clouds of a marmalade colored sky.

Soft Starry Night was inspired by a night I spent at my friend Shawn's ranch in the Texas Hill Country.  A group of us all sat in a vast open field and watched clouds roll in while lightning peacefully danced around in some clouds in the far distance.

Bryan and the Aardvarks is comprised of some of New York's finest young jazz musicians.  vibraphonist Chris Dingman, has been hailed the the New York Times as a "dazzling soloist and composer with a fondness for airtight logic and burnished lyricism." Pianist Fabian Almazan, a native of Cuba now residing in New York City found his musical roots as a child in Habana where he first became involved in the classical piano tradition, and for the past two years, has been the pianist for Terence Blanchard's Quintet.  Drummer Joe Nero, a recent graduate of Manhattan School of Music, learned to play the drums at a very early age.  His style is a wonderful reflection that emits emotions of sensitivity and grace.  Ugright Bassist and composer Bryan Copeland relies on his Texas roots to shape the hearland style of the group.  Recently, the band released their debut album entitled "Heroes of Make Believe."
