Oh Yeah It's Shorts Weather

A way over-the-top piece that I wrote for my team's entry in the 2021 GMTK Game Jam. We made a co-op platforming shmup, so I went as hard as I possibly could within the brief time allowed. You play as Dan and Danny, and they are in love.

Dans On The Move

A cheery piece for SATB choir, two celli, and a marimba. The text is a series of nonsense syllables chosen to give the facsimile of language, but not one anybody could understand. Performance credit goes to the University of Memphis chamber choir, Roberta Dos Santos, Jacob Saunders, and Overton Alford.

Archipelago

An uncommonly difficult piano trio that I wasn't expecting to have to play myself! Featured on this recording are Michael Brennan on violin and Roberta dos Santos on cello.

A sweet little piece I wrote in August 2022. This performance is by the University of Memphis' Contemporary Chamber Players ensemble, and was recorded September 30 2022.

A short piece written as part of a set of lullabies for my wife. It's definitely my favorite of the bunch.

An electronic test piece composed to explore some different techniques within Logic. I think it still came out pretty well, despite musicality not being an explicit goal.

!! HAUNTED !!

This piece is the theme for the main town of a hypothetical JRPG game. It's arranged as a functioning piece, but is deliberately partitioned into several easily loopable sections, for different parts of the town.

A Happy Thing

A small suite for orchestra composed around different types of snow imagery. The third movement is performed by the University of Memphis symphony orchestra.

Hectic Feedback

This is an ambient piece I wrote a few months ago, playing around with arpeggiators for an easy but pleasant texture. I finally got around to revising it recently.

Not written for any video game in particular, this is a cheery piece using primarily (sampled) analog instruments. I don't often give myself opportunities to use drum kits, so this was a fun change of pace.
